Walks of 6–8 miles in the Yorkshire countryside, on the second Thursday of every month, with particular reference to the seasons.
Waterproofs, walking boots and packed lunch essential. Make your own way to the starting point for 10:30 am departure.

We will meet for the July walk in the car park of the Bay Horse Ale House on Main Street, Burythorpe, Ryedale, about 4 miles south of Malton and on the edge of the Wolds, ( GR 791648, Sat Nav ref: 54.072739, -0.792314).
It is an undulating walk of about 8 miles via Birdsall and Leavening, led by Kathy.
Tea - or ale! - will be taken afterwards in the interesting eighteenth century Bay Horse.
