Venue: U3A croquet is played every Tuesday afternoon (2pm) and Saturday morning (10am) at Scarcroft Road Croquet Club, in the summer season (April to end September).
The club grounds are a short walk from Blossom Street; easy access by a number of bus routes. There is parking on local streets but watch out for 'residents parking' restrictions and time limits.
Tuesday sessions start at 2 pm and go to about 4 pm; Saturdays start at 10 am.
Most players join either the Tuesday or the Saturday group but you can be flexible between them. £2 a session.
No equipment needed; wear flat shoes. It's not essential to come every week (though you will play better if you practise more...).
Enquiries welcome at any time; those who have expressed interest will be advised when the 2019 season starts.
